Amazon Prime announced 7 films simultaneously released on its platform a few days ago. These included Amitabh Bachchan and Gulab Sitabo of Ayushman Khurana and Shakuntala Devi of Vidya Balan as well as Penguin, which is made in Tamil and Telugu languages. It will also be dubbed and released in Malayalam.

The film will be streamed on Amazon Prime on June 19 and its trailer is released on June 11. Earlier, a teaser was released on 8 June, which was seen with great enthusiasm in the audience. The teaser has garnered over 3.4 million views within a few hours of its release. Amazon shared this teaser on Twitter and wrote - A mother's worst nightmare came true.

The teaser does not reveal much, but a feeling is definitely made about the film. It is the story of a mother who sets out in search of her son. Charlie Chaplin is seen wearing a mask, which creates suspense. The mystery thriller Penguin is directed by Ishwar Karthik, whose directorial debut. The film stars Keerthy Suresh in the lead role. Kirti has won the National Film Award for Best Actress in 2019.

The teaser of Penguin was also released on social media simultaneously by Taapsee Pannu, Samantha Prabhu, Manju Warrier and Trisha. Taapsee also wished Keerthy all the best for this.

Its importance was further seen when films such as Gulabo Sitabo and Shakuntala Devi were released on Amazon Prime, as both were made for theaters.
