Kangana Ranaut starrer 'Tejas' is the story of a courageous and fearless fighter pilot. The Indian Air Force was the first defense force in the country to engage women in combat roles in 2016. This film is inspired by this historical event. This is the second film after producer Ronnie Screwvala's Uri dedicated to brave soldiers. This film will be directed by Sarvesh Mewara.

"

Kangana had earlier shared the film's first look in February this year. Kangana had said at that time that she is going to play the role of Air Force Pilot. Since then people are desperate for this film, as Kangana fits perfectly in whatever role she plays, the fans hope that she will surprise people with her brilliant performance this time too.

Kangana said that this film will inspire our youth and they will understand the meaning of patriotism. Kangana will soon be seen in the film Thalaivi, which is a biopic of former Tamil Nadu CM and actress Jayalalithaa.
