Balraj Syal, an actor and comedian seen in reality shows like 'Khatron Ke Khiladi 10' and 'Mujhse Shaadi Karoge', has secretly got married. You will be surprised to know that Balraj got married in Jalandhar on August 7 and the girl he is married to, lives just 15 minutes away from his house. She is a singer and is named Deepti Tuli.
When asked about how Deepti Tuli first met, Balraj said, 'We met in Chandigarh during a shoot in July 2019. I was hosting a show and she was performing with her band on that show. I liked her at first glance but I might not have liked her otherwise she would have responded to my message.
Balraj further said, 'After this I went for the shoot of' Khatron Ke Khiladi 'and kept messaging Deepti, but never got any special response. During my trip to Turkey and Greece, a long conversation between me and Deepti began. I met him several times after coming back. I proposed to her for wedding in Goa on 26th January. She was surprised and did not respond immediately. After this I got an offer to 'marry me'. After coming from this show, I once again talked about marriage to Deepti and this time she agreed. Our families met a few days before the lockdown in March and our coils were mixed. The special thing is that Deepti lives just 15 minutes away from my house in Jalandhar. It took so much time to cover that gap.
Balraj Syal further stated that he did not want a social wedding due to the lockdown and corona epidemic. But it was also necessary to take rounds in front of the fire. So his parents said that he would return home when the flight was resumed and then he was pompously married with all the customs. Balraj further stated that he invited only 30 people to the wedding. He said, I have many friends but it was not possible to call everyone. But once the situation is corrected then I will hold a big reception.
