Bigg Boss 14 Contestant Jaan Kumar Sanu apologises for making remarks on Marathi language
In Bigg Boss 14 house, Bigg Boss is reprimanded by Jaan Kumar Sanu. Recently, he had commented on Marathi language, due to which Marathi speaking people got angry with him. Now he has apologized to everyone on the show. He has said that he is extremely embarrassed, but all this has happened unknowingly to him.
Jaan apologized and said, "Namaste, my name is Jaan Kumar Sanu. I inadvertently made a mistake a few days ago, which has hurt Marathi people, and their feelings. I would like to say sorry for this. I had no intention of hurting Marathi people. If my intensions have come from the front, I would like to apologize wholeheartedly for that. Actually, Rahul Vaidya and Nikki Tamboli were speaking in Marathi language. When Jaan heard them talking they opposed it. He said that he is irritated with this language and if he has the strength, then both of them should speak in Hindi. After this, people of Marathi language had expressed their displeasure over this and had given 24 hours to apologize to Jaan.
Maharashtra Navnirman Sena president Ameya Khopkar had threatened to stop shooting for the Bigg Boss show. He said that if Jaan did not apologize for this, he would stop shooting for the show, as well as not allow Jaan to work in Mumbai. At the same time, Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh had also issued a statement saying that no one in the country can refuse to speak in any language.
