'A Man Called Otto', featuring Tom Hanks, has been reserved for a Christmas Day discharge. The film was obtained by Sony last week for $60 million out of the European Film Market, reports 'Assortment'.

Coordinated by Marc Forster with a screenplay adjusted by David Magee from a top rated novel by Fredrik Backman, the film portrays the narrative of an irritable single man who holds the remainder of his neighborhood to his steadfast principles.

However, similarly as Otto is going to abandon his life, he ignites another fellowship with his neighbors, inciting him to go through a change.

The Whitney Houston biopic 'I Wanna Dance With Somebody' will be delivered promptly after the Tom Hanks-starrer.

With Naomi Ackie playing Houston, the film has been moved from December 23 to December 21 to oblige the arrival of 'A Man Called Otto' and to stay away from a film industry conflict.

The movie, with screenplay by Anthony McCarten, will see producer Kasi Lemmons taking the chief's seat to rudder the cast of Stanley Tucci, Nafessa Williams, Clarke Peters, Tamara Tunie and Ashton Sanders.

In the interim, Scott Beck and Bryan Woods' '65', featuring Adam Driver, Ariana Greenblatt and Chloe Coleman, has been deferred by a year to April 14, 2023.
