Whole moong dal recipe: It is very tasty to eat whole moong dal, provided it is spiced well with spices. It is very easy to make these, you can prepare this dal in just 30 minutes.
Ingredients Of Whole Green Moong Dal
1 cup whole moong dal
4 cups of water
1 tbsp salt
1 tbsp ginger, finely chopped
1 tsp turmeric
2 tablespoons oil
1 tsp cumin seeds
2 bay leaves
1/4 cup tomatoes
Green chillies cut into 2-3 lengths
1/2 tsp garam masala
2 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp red chilli powder
How to make Whole Hreen Moong dal
Wash the lentils and add ginger, salt, turmeric, and water and cook till it becomes soft.
Heat the oil in the pan, add cumin seeds and bay leaves.
When it starts crackling, add tomatoes and cook till the oil separates.
Add green chili, garam masala, green coriander, and red chili powder and mix well.
Add lentils to it and let it boil and cook it for 10 minutes on low heat.
Garnish with green coriander and serve. You can keep the lentils thick or thin according to you.
