Google remembered him by making a doodle in honor of Indian cinema veteran actress and dancer Zohra Sehgal on Tuesday. Zohra Sehgal was born on April 27, 1912 in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh. When she was 20, she learned ballet dance at a prestigious school in Germany. He later toured internationally with Indian classical dance legend Uday Shankar.

In 1962, Zohra Sehgal moved to London and worked in several television serials in Britain. Zohra Sehgal has played memorable roles in films in many languages ​​including Hindi. He has acted in films like Dil Se, Saawariya, Chini Kam. Zohra played the role of Govinda's grandmother in the film Chalo Ishq Ladaaye. His character is still remembered today.

Speaking to Google on why she chose to pay her homage to Sehgal, Pillai says the actress "overcame social and cultural stereotypes with her sheer tenacity and infectious passion from a very young age. She is an inspiration not just for women everywhere, but for anyone who wants to follow their own path."

Pillai further adds Sehgal "lived her life to the fullest. In today’s challenging times, it is important to be optimistic and keep smiling.”

Zohra Sehgal was one of the first artists in the country to achieve international recognition. He received several awards including Padma Shri in 1998, Kalidas Samman in 2001, Sangeet Natak Akademi Award in 2004 and Padma Vibhushan in 2010. Let me tell you that he had a heart attack on July 10, 2014 and at the age of 102, he said goodbye to the world.
