Kaali Khuhi Movie Review Shabana Azmi Satyadeep Mishra Sanjeeda Shaikh

In Indian society, girls are considered economically and socially burdened. This is the reason that the practice of killing them in our society has been centuries old. The film is the story of Kaali Khuhi on this age-old practice. Which is presented in the horror genre. The subject of the film is as strong as the story is as lame. She has neither been intimidated on the screen nor has she been able to do justice to the subject nor the subject.

Talking about the film's story, one is from a village in Punjab. In Punjabi it is called khuhi well which means black well. One day suddenly a closed well opens and the soul of a girl named Sakshi comes out of it. Which was killed many years ago as soon as she was born, because after the birth of girls in that village decades ago, they were thrown into that black well. Sakshi's unquenchable soul now wants to destroy her entire family. With this, the entire village has been devastated by the spirit of dead girls.

10-year-old Shivangi (Rewa) paves the way for the liberation of these unimpressed girls. How he is in the story ahead is very weak. There are many bags in the story of the film. How can the names of born girls be named? The name of all the killed girls was written in Shabana's book. When the newborn girls were killed, why is their soul shown at the age of 10 years.

If newborn girls could not be shown as spirit, then what was the rationale of showing the age of 10 years. The film defaults on all fronts from logic to entertainment and messages. Talking about acting, everyone including Shabana Azmi has done a good job, but the story of the film is so weak that they also do not impress. The cinematography of the film does justice to the theme of the film. all in one is a very weak film made on a strong subject.
