And while we love the good ol’ classics, a little fusion food never hurt any palate. For instance, the paneer tikka pizza that we’re dreaming of today is the perfect recipe for pizza-lovers who love themselves some Indian flavors and tikka masala. So, grab some tangy coriander chutney, fresh pizza dough, some homemade pizza sauce, and a block of mozzarella for we’ve got an Indo-Italian pizza to relish!
Ingredients for Paneer Tikka Pizza
For Paneer Tikka
150 grams Paneer, chopped
4 tbsp thick curd
1 medium red/green/ yellow bell pepper, chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
1 medium tomato, chopped
2 tsp ginger garlic paste
1/2 tsp coriander powder
1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/2 teaspoon garam masala or tandoori masala
1/4 tsp Ajwain
1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
1/2 tsp chaat masala
Salt and black salt as per taste
For Pizza
250 grams Pizza Flour
1 cup Pizza Sauce
Grated mozzarella cheese, to taste
6-7 olives, sliced
Method How to make Paneer Tikka Pizza
Method For Paneer Tikka
Whisk the curd in a bowl and add the ginger garlic paste, celery, salt, lemon juice, and all the spices.
Add Paneer, onion, capsicum, and tomato to the yogurt mixture and mix well. Cover and keep it for 1 hour. If it is to be kept for more than an hour, keep it in the fridge.
Method for Pizza
Grease the baking tray with olive oil and sprinkle all-purpose flour over it.
Preheat the oven to 250 degrees Celcius for at least 20 minutes.
Sprinkle the flour of the Pizza flour on a flat surface and place it on a baking tray.
Now spread Pizza sauce on the Pizza base and add Paneer, Capsicum, Onion, Tomato, and Olive on top. Finally, add grated mozzarella.
Bake the pizzas for 15-20 minutes in an oven so that the cheese melts and the base of the pizza cooks well.
Serve the Pizzas hot with coriander chutney or tomato sauce.
